Messages - Expanding Consciousness

Philosophers and mystics have long contemplated the disconcerting notion that the fixed self is an illusion. Neuroscientists now think they can prove it or, at least, help us glimpse this truth with some help from psilocybin, the psychoactive property in magic mushrooms.

In December, a former Facebook executive said the company was “ripping apart the social fabric of how society works.” A few weeks later, Facebook itself wondered whether it “might be having a negative impact on society.” Now a new alliance made up of former Silicon Valley cronies has aseembled to challenge the technological Frankenstein they’ve collectively created.

Douglas Gabriel speaks with Michael McKibben, CEO of Leader Technologies. First, as a bit of background, McKibben claims that his company developed the source code for what became the foundation of all social media, which is not what we think it is.

The two claim that this code was quite simply stolen from McKibben by the US Government in 2000 and that it was weaponized into a scalable way to control the entire Internet and before being handed over to what would become their controlled social media giants like Facebook, Twitter and Google.

What do the activities of our sun have to do with the increase in extreme weather, public scandals, mass tragedies and social unrest that we are experiencing here on earth? According to indigenous and shamanic belief, and their understanding of life and the universe… everything.

You hear a low rumble that sounds like it is about a mile away. You go outside, but the annoying noise is actually louder in your house. The low hum is not an appliance, and there are no factories or highways nearby. You and a few other people in your community can hear it, but not everyone. Your spouse can’t even hear it. Are you crazy? What could it be? You can swear the odd sound is real, but you are afraid to say something.

You are not alone. For decades, many have heard this noise, called The Hum. It is usually described as a low rumble, like an external diesel-powered machine in the distance.  Conversely, many hear the low murmur internally. The steady drone is not just an irritant for people but affects their daily functioning. The Hum can be hazardous, often creating distress and contributing to a loss of sleep. The danger level ranges from a minor irritant all the way to suicide.

We all think about money some time or another don’t we? When a mail-blitz of bills hit our mailbox or our financial planner software shows us that we are going to scrape it very, very thin till next paycheck, we sit back, take a deep breath and get carried away by an inundation of worrisome thoughts or daydreams about an alternative life in which money comes down thick and fast from a tap.

This takes us down a narrow road in our mind in which we get locked by thoughts of money scarcity rather than solutions.

According to the World Bank about three quarters of people on the planet now use a cell phone. So they must be safe, right? Wrong

Story at-a-glance:
Raising the head of your bed 6 inches so that you’re sleeping on a 5-degree incline may improve your blood circulation, metabolism, respiratory, neurological and immune function
Inclined bed therapy may also ease symptoms associated with Alzheimer’s, diabetes, glaucoma, migraines, multiple sclerosis, sleep apnea, acid reflux, edema, varicose veins and more
In plants, the interplay between gravity and varying density of fluids is what causes the sap to circulate up and down in a perpetual loop. The same mechanism appears to apply to human biology as well, which is the basis for inclined bed therapy
Sleeping on an incline affects intracranial pressure. Research by a medical anthropologist showed people with migraines were able to eliminate their migraines within a short period of time by sleeping with their heads raised
Archeological evidence suggests some Egyptians slept on inclined beds, and the head on these beds was 6 inches higher than the foot end

(ZHE) — While there are plenty of stories of artificial intelligence gone wrong, it seems many recent new owners of Amazon’s Alexa devices have been rudely woken by “bone-chillingly creepy” laughing from their AI friend.

Do you enjoy drinking soda?

Well, don’t be surprised if you start forgetting where you left your keys, because according to US scientists eating too much sugar can eat away at your brainpower. The recently published study showed how a steady diet of high-fructose corn syrup (like those found in sugar and other refined sweet treats) zapped lab rats’ memories.

According to the beliefs of several ancient cultures, the early morning hours may be ideal for meditation and spiritual reflection. New age and spiritual circles will also claim that if you wake between the hours of 3am and 5am, you may be going through a spiritual awakening.

Although it’s difficult to prove if any of these claims are true, I would like to share some beliefs of the Secoya tribe of Ecuador. This indigenous tribe’s way of life is entwined with its traditions and ceremonies, even today, when most of the world has become Westernized.

(Natural News) Wearable technology has certainly come a long way ever since they first hit the mainstream market a few years back. But even now, researchers from all over the world are working to reinvent it in ways that will give users more benefits at much lesser costs. The latest advancement in the world of wearables comes in the form of a so-called “editable supercapacitor” which is said to be a highly customizable version of the conventional capacitor that you may be familiar with. Designed as a fabric-like material by researchers from Singapore, it can be cut, folded, and even stretched all while retaining its core functions.
